Questions nurseries ask
What languages do you teach, and what are the benefits?
We offer Spanish and French through music. Combining early music education with language learning supports listening, spatial awareness, memory and development, giving young children a natural head start in both music and communication.
What ages do you teach? Does it work for babies who can't talk or walk yet?
We work with children from babies to preschool age. Early childhood is the prime window for language: even before they speak, children tune into pitch, rhythm and the sounds of a language, and absorb it through music, movement and watching.
What if a child doesn't speak the language, or has additional needs (SEND)?
No prior language knowledge is needed. Our sessions are inclusive, immersive and multi-sensory: we adapt activities with visual cues, hands-on props and movement to each child's pace, stage and needs, including SEND.
How long are the lessons, how often do they run, and what props do you use?
Sessions last 30 minutes and run weekly or fortnightly. Every class uses child-safe percussion instruments, sensory props such as scarves, puppets and parachutes, movement and our original songs.
What does the nursery need to prepare?
Nothing at all! We bring all the instruments and props, so your staff need no preparation or special training. We only ask that at least one member of the nursery staff stays in the room while our teacher leads the session.
Do you film or photograph the children?
Only with explicit written permission. We occasionally take photos or short videos for teacher training or marketing, always with full parental consent and in line with safeguarding and data-protection rules. If consent isn't given, the child is never recorded.
How can parents follow their child's progress and support learning at home?
We send nurseries newsletters that are easy to forward to parents by email, app or printout, with the songs, themes and home resources, so families can sing along and practise the words at home.
